Goodbye Paper, Hello Future

Can you think back to the last time you actually took the time to sit down and read a newspaper at your table? Yea neither can I.. Professor Kline has asked our class of young future reporters to read this article from The Washington Post and express how we feel.

The Article is titled “I Really Need You to Read this, Ok?” by Joel Achenbach.

Joel really makes one think about the past and present status of news papers.

“Our future is the media” – Joel Achenbach

I know that personally I have never took the time to read a whole newspaper from front to back within the past few years for fun. I depend on my iPhone for all my news. It has its good and bad points. The good that sticks out with electronic news as opposed to print is that its always 100% updated second by second. The negative is that you are screwed if you battery dies or your power goes out! Print will be there rain or shine.

So what are you? Old or new school?
